Biography
Background
Kailash Chandra Rath is a co-founder and Partner of Sri Jagannath Promoters & Builders. A law graduate, he founded the firm with his close friend and business partner, Pradipta Kumar Biswasroy, and together they built it from its beginnings in Berhampur into an established business in Bhubaneswar.
His side of the work is project execution and procurement: construction, site operations and commercial negotiation. Securing competitive prices and terms without giving way on quality has been a consistent strength of the firm.
Over four decades he has contributed to the growth of the real estate sector in Odisha. He has been a member of the Advisory Body of ODFed since the Federation was formed, and has held various office bearer roles in industry associations, among them the presidency of the Real Estate Developers' Association of Odisha (REDA), and the CREDAI Bhubaneswar Foundation.
He is a demanding taskmaster, and just as particular about the firm meeting its own financial commitments on time. His attention to detail and hands-on presence on site, with his co-founder's discipline, are behind the firm's record: every project it has delivered has received its occupancy certificate.
